I had to practice using different line and blending techniques to create a realistic looking giraffe. I found it easy to follow the teachers instructions to create the giraffe shape. It was difficult to keep all the parts in perspective. Next time I will try harder to use blending to show dark and light.

Wow, Evan your giraffe really looks great. I remember seeing your draft sketch at Te Tuhi in your sketch book. Your finished artwork is amazing. I really like your use of colour, to emphasise the yellow of the animal. Mummy.
Your giraffe is amazing Evan! He certainly looks extremely realistic and I really like his tongue! Great that you have identified a goal for next time - can't wait to see more art on your blog :)
